"Al Nassr and Ronaldo Progress to Group Stage of Asian Champions League"
"Saudi Pro League outfit Al Nassr orchestrated a remarkable comeback securing their berth in the group stage draw of the Asian Champions League. Anderson Talisca played a pivotal role, netting twice in a 4-2 victory over UAE's Shabab Al Ahli in Riyadh on Tuesday.
Talisca initiated Al Nassr's lead in the 11th minute with a header from Marcelo Brozovic's well-placed corner. However, Yahya Al Ghassani's strikes in the 18th and 46th minutes tilted the game in favor of the 2015 runners-up, leaving the lavishly financed Saudi team at the brink of elimination.
In the 88th minute, Sultan Al Ghannam's header restored parity, and in the dying moments of injury time, Talisca secured his brace, guiding Al Nassr back into the lead. Contributing to the victory, Brozovic, assisted by Cristiano Ronaldo, sealed the deal with a precise strike from the penalty area's edge just two minutes later.
Al Nassr's spot in the upcoming draw was solidified, setting the stage for Thursday's event.
In related news, Al-Nassr unveiled their latest squad addition on Tuesday – Portuguese midfielder Otavio, who completed a move from Porto. The transfer reportedly comes at a fee of 60 million euros ($65.08 million) for the 28-year-old talent. During his tenure at Porto since 2014, Otavio amassed 31 goals across 283 appearances in various competitions."
